Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what personal data HustleKit collects, how we use it, who we share it with, and the rights you have over it. We have tried to write it in plain language. If anything is unclear, email us at hello@hustlekit.net.

1. Who we are

HustleKit (“HustleKit”, “we”, “us”) is a service based in Hungary. For the purposes of data protection law, HustleKit is the data controller responsible for your personal data.

2. The information we collect

• Account information. When you sign up we use Clerk to manage your account. This includes your name, email address, password (stored encrypted by Clerk), and — if you sign in with Google — basic Google profile information such as your name, email, and profile picture.
• Content you give us. Anything you upload or type into our tools — video files, YouTube links, text prompts, business and product details, and the search queries you enter into our lead-generation tools.
• Content we generate for you. The clips, short videos, websites, research results, and other output our AI tools create from your input.
• Waitlist & marketing information. If you join our waitlist we collect your email, name, the tools you are interested in, and basic referral or campaign information such as where you found us.
• Usage & technical data. When you use the site we automatically collect technical information such as your IP address, browser and device type, and pages visited, using Vercel Analytics.
• Cookies. We use a small number of cookies that are necessary to keep you signed in and to keep the service secure.

3. How we use your information

We use your information to:

• provide, operate, and maintain HustleKit and its tools;
• process your input through our AI tools and return the results to you;
• manage your account and sign you in;
• communicate with you about your account, the beta, and important service updates;
• keep the service secure, prevent abuse, and fix problems;
• understand how the service is used so we can improve it.

Under the GDPR, we rely on these legal bases: performing our contract with you (to provide the service), your consent (for example, marketing emails where applicable), and our legitimate interests (to secure and improve the service).

4. AI processing and who we share data with

To run HustleKit we use trusted third-party companies (“processors”) that handle data on our behalf. Importantly, when you use our AI tools, the content you submit is sent to third-party AI providers so they can generate your results.

• Clerk — account sign-up, login, and authentication.
• Resend — sending emails.
• Vercel — website hosting and analytics.
• Cloudflare R2 / Amazon Web Services (AWS) — storing files such as your videos.
• DigitalOcean — running the servers that process your requests.
• Supabase — storing waitlist information.
• AI providers, including Google (Veo and Gemini) and Anthropic (Claude) — generating videos, websites, and other AI output from the content you submit.
• When you give us a YouTube link, we access that public video through YouTube / Google in order to process it.

We do not sell your personal data to anyone.

5. International data transfers

Some of these providers are based outside the European Economic Area (for example, in the United States). When your data is transferred outside the EEA, we rely on the safeguards those providers offer, such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses, to protect it.

6. How long we keep your data

We keep your account data for as long as your account is active. We keep the content you submit and the results we generate for as long as needed to provide the service to you. If you delete your account or ask us to delete your data, we will remove it within a reasonable period, unless we are legally required to keep some of it.

7. Your rights

Because you are protected by the GDPR, you have the right to:

• access the personal data we hold about you;
• correct data that is wrong or incomplete;
• ask us to delete your data (the “right to be forgotten”);
• receive your data in a portable format;
• object to or restrict certain uses of your data;
• withdraw your consent at any time, where we rely on consent.

To use any of these rights, email us at hello@hustlekit.net. You also have the right to complain to the Hungarian data protection authority, the National Authority for Data Protection and Freedom of Information (NAIH — naih.hu), if you believe we have mishandled your data.

8. Security

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit and access controls. No online service can be completely secure, but we work to keep your information safe.

9. Children

HustleKit is not intended for anyone under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 16. If you believe a child has given us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. If we make significant changes, we will let you know.
